No prior experience is necessary as we employ dedicated trainers who deliver a through induction to all staff before they work.

The Mandatory training provided includes:

  • Moving and Handling
  • Food safety and nutrition
  • Infection control
  • Safeguarding adults and children at risk
  • Medication training
  • PBM (positive behaviour management) training
  • Equality and Diversity    

In addition on induction you will be trained to:

  • Work in a Person-Centred Way 
  • Communication 
  • Privacy and Dignity  
  • Dementia and Cognitive Issues  
  • Basic Life Support  
  • Will be awarded the Care Certificate on completion
